Olsson suffers injury

Swedish Alpine skier Hans Olsson has suffered facial injuries after crashing in a men's World Cup downhill run on Saturday.

Olsson, 22, was taken by helicopter from Val d'Isere to a hospital in Moutiers for further examination.

A statement from the hospital denied earlier information given by the organisers that he had suffered a head injury.

He had a broken nose and burns on his face, the hospital confirmed.
