Kjetil Jansrud extended his overall lead in the World Cup standings after a comfortable victory in the Super-G in Val Gardena.
The Norwegian had already bagged himself a hat-trick of wins this season, including the opening two Super-G races of the season in Lake Louise and Beaver Creek.
And while action has since switched to Europe, there was no change in the outcome as the Super-G Olympic champion clocked an overall time of 1:33.87 to take top spot on the podium.
Second went to home favourite Dominik Paris, 0.46 seconds back on 1:34.33 while Hannes Reichelt of Austria was third with 1:34.41.
It leaves Jansrud out front in the overall standings with 592 points ahead of the absent Marcel Hirscher of Austria while Paris strengthened his hold on third spot, moving to 345 points overall.
Paris also closed the gap to Reichelt in the Super-G standings after pipping him to second spot in Italy, with his total of 185 now just 15 behind the Austrian, although it is Jansrud who understandably sits top on 280.
