Kjetil Jansrud marked his comeback from injury in style as the Norwegian won the Super-G World Cup in Val d'Isere, the first speed race of the season.
After ten months out due to a serious knee injury reigning Super-G Olympic champion Jansrud showed he has not lost any of his speed or talent as he came home in 1:21.66 minutes.
That was enough to claim top spot as Norwegian teammate Askel Lund Svindal was 0.17 seconds behind in the runners-up spot.
And completing the podium in France was Italian Dominik Paris as he came home in 1:22.07.
But Paris could do little about the Norwegian duo ahead of him, with Norway looking to once again dominate the World Cup scene after picking up 19 wins last term.
