The 22-year-old Norwegian led after the first run but didn't take his foot off the gas, posting the fastest time again in the second run to win in 1:54.87 minutes.
It was a dominant performance by Sochi 2014 Olympic bronze medallist Kristoffersen with his nearest challenger, Italian Manfred Moelgg, 1.83 seconds further back.

And completing the podium in Adelboden was Sochi 2014 Olympic silver medallist Marcel Hirscher as the Austrian came home in 1:57.09.
The result means that Kristoffersen and Hirscher are now locked at the top of the slalom World Cup standings on 360 points after five events, with Moelgg third on 326.
However Hirscher still leads the overall World Cup standings on 893 points, some way ahead of nearest challenger Alexis Pinturault of France, who has 594 to his name after he was ninth in Adelboden.
