It was Andre Myhrer of Sweden who won in St Moritz after finishing 0.14 seconds ahead of overall leader Marcel Hirscher.
Kristoffersen had been suffering with flu in the build-up to this weekend’s race and came 19th but still collected the discipline globe having wrapped up the slalom title previously.
"I'm really happy that I managed to wrap the globe up early," said Kristoffersen.

"It was tough being sick, laying in bed for two days. My battery is just flat so it was really lucky that everything was already decided.
“It's been an unbelievable season this year. I've taken a lot of steps - December and January was especially amazing."
Hirscher also picked up his fifth consecutive Overall crystal globe having already bagged it in Kranjska Gora but The Nations Team Cup did go down to the wire.
And it was Hirscher who made sure Austria did not lose the cup for the first time since 1992 with his second place finish as the French started the day just over 80 points behind.
Hirscher, who finished second in the slalom standings with Felix Neureuther third, and Myhrer were joined on the podium this weekend by Foss-Solevaag in what was the winner’s only victory of the season and his first since 2012.
"It's an unbelievable way to end the season," said Myhrer.
"The season was a struggle until Japan and to end it this way is great for me and the people who worked with me all winter."
