Tina Maze and Gauthier de Tessières took to the slopes ahead of the women's Giant Slalom to inspect the course.
Gauthier de Tessieres and Maze inspected the conditions and gave their predictions ahead of the race.
"The snow is icey so the first run will be very nice," said Maze.
Maze, the who won the Giant Slalom back in 2011 in Garmisch, tipped France’s Tessa Worley to take the honours in St Moritz but thinks Mikaela Shiffrin of the USA could produce a strong performance, also.
“Worley needs to fully attack with her power,” says Maze of Worely.
De Tessieres also tips Worley, and Shiffrin but also expects a strong showing from Sofia Goggia.
