American Shiffrin was in control throughout on Saturday, posting 56.09 from her first run before following that up with 56.62 to finish with a total time of 1:52.71.
That was 0.67 seconds clear of nearest challenger Wendy Holdener in second while Slovakia's Petra Vlhova was 0.75 seconds back in third.
The victory represented Shiffrin's 20th career slalom win, with the 21-year-old having tasted success in the last nine slalom races she has competed in, since February 2015.
She won the World Cup slalom Crystal Globe in 2013, 2014 and 2015, but finished fourth last year after missing several weeks due to an injury.
The last woman with a longer winning streak in slalom was Janica Kostelic who won ten between December 1999 and February 2001.
Shiffrin has a chance to match that at the next slalom World Cup race on home soil in Killington, on November 27.
In the meantime she tops the World Cup slalom races after one round, while she leads the overall World Cup standings after a second-placed finish in the giant slalom in Soelden, last month.
