Svindal quickest

Norway's Aksel Lund Svindal enjoyed a boost to his confidence as he produced the fastest time in men's downhill training at Lake Louise in Alberta.
Svindal clocked a time of one minute 49.97 seconds for the 3,102m run at the Canadian resort, leaving the twice overall World Cup winner seven hundredths ahead of Austria's Hans Grugger.
Sweden's Patrik Jaerbyn was third fastest, 0.14 behind Svindal.
American star Bode Miller was in seventh, 0.33 behind Svindal, while reigning men's downhill World Cup winner Didier Cuche finished 11th quickest 0.66 behind the Norwegian.
The opening men's downhill of the season takes place on the course at Lake Louise on Saturday.
