2005 World Cup winner Bode Miller has switched skis from Atomic to Head, signing a two-year deal with the Austrian manufacturer. "With this opportunity I’ll be entering the next stage of my career," the 28-year old American said in a press release on Friday.
After a stellar 2005, the New Hampshire native disappointed sorely in 2006, battling weight problems and knee bothers and finishing the season with two wins, and not even a podium finish at the Olympics.
Miller joined Atomic two seasons ago from Rossignol.
At Head, he joins the likes of American Caroline Lalive, Marco Buechel of Liechtenstein and German Maria Riesch.
