Washington Redskins safety DeAngelo Hall agreed to restructure his contract and take a pay cut to return to the team for a 14th NFL season.

The 33-year-old Hall was set to make $4.25 million as a base salary in 2017 and had a salary cap hit of $5.1 million. He is recovering from a torn ACL and may not be able to participate in training camp.

The Washington Post reported that his salary will decrease to $2.3 million, with a $500,000 bonus if he makes the Pro Bowl.

- - - Cleveland Browns defensive end and top overall draft pick Myles Garrett sustained an apparent foot injury while participating in team drills.

Garrett rushed toward quarterback Brock Osweiler during a two-minute drill before the play was whistled for a sack. Garrett landed awkwardly on his left foot as he extended toward Osweiler and fell to the ground, where he was assessed by a trainer.

Garrett limped into the fieldhouse with teammates at the conclusion of the session. There was no official report on the severity of the injury.

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed first-round pick T.J. Watt to his four-year rookie deal, wrapping up their draft-class signings.

Selected 30th overall in April out of Wisconsin, the 22-year-old outside linebacker becomes the third member of his family in the NFL. He joins older brothers J.J. (Houston Texans) and Derek (Los Angeles Chargers).

- - - Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Cody Core sustained an apparent left leg injury during drills and was carted off the field. Core, who was having a strong offseason, was to undergo X-rays to determine the extent of the injury.

The Denver Broncos signed free agent cornerback Chris Lewis-Harris after waiving cornerback Taurean Nixon.

Lewis-Harris, 28, is a sixth-year player who appeared in 33 regular-season games and three postseason contests with the Cincinnati Bengals (2012-16) and Baltimore Ravens (2016). He also spent time on Cincinnati's practice squad (2012-13, 2015).

In 2016, Lewis-Harris played seven games each with Cincinnati and Baltimore, combining to post five tackles, one interception and two passes defensed.
