Dasaolu, who made his senior Great Britain debut in 2010, won his first major title earlier in August when he claimed 100m gold at the 2014 European Championships in Zurich.
However the last 12 months have not all been plain sailing for the London 2012 100m semi-finalist with Dasaolu suffering a hamstring injury en route to winning the 60m at the 2014 edition of the Birmingham Indoor Grand Prix in February.
The sprinter had appeared in the form of his life, setting a world leading 60m time of 6.47 in the heats the third fastest time ever by a Brit but suffered the injury crossing the finish line in the final.
It ruled him out of the World Indoors and denied him the chance to compete at the Commonwealth Games in the summer before then hitting back with European gold.
And Dasaolu, who currently trains in Loughborough alongside European 4x100m women's relay gold medallist Asha Philip also confirmed for the Indoor Grand Prix in Birmingham on February 21 insists he is looking forward to the chance to defend his crown.
He said: "I can't wait to compete at the Sainsbury's Indoor Grand Prix next year. Training is going brilliantly and I believe I'm over my injuries."
