Ennis-Hill set for Birmingham Grand Prix outing

Jessica Ennis-Hill's diary for the summer is quickly filling up with the Olympic heptathlon champion confirming she will compete at next month's Birmingham Grand Prix.

Ennis-Hill is currently stepping up her return to athletics following the birth of her son, with August's World Championships in Beijing the main aim this summer.
Earlier this week she confirmed her participation at the Hypo-Meeting in Gotzis at the end of this month for what will be her first heptathlon since winning gold at London 2012.
And the following week she will now be back in action on home soil after announcing she will contest the 100m hurdles and shot put at the Birmingham Grand Prix on June 7.
"I am really excited to be in a position to announce my participation in the Sainsbury's Birmingham Grand Prix - I feel that my season is really beginning to take shape," she said.
"I am loving being back competing - it is such a good feeling and I have had some incredible support from the public who have come to watch.
"The crowds are always amazing at the Alexander Stadium and I am hoping there will be a really good turn out on June 7 to help me along!"
