Bag not doping material

Syringes, transfusion equipment and empty pill packets found in Gothenburg after the European athletics Championships are not doping material, Swedish police have announced.

Police found the equipment in two bags in the city centre on August 14th, a day after the Championships finished.

"None of these substances are covered by the anti-doping law," police said in a statement, adding they had dropped their investigation into possible doping.
