Jessica Ennis-Hill is set to become a triple world champion after Tatyana Chernova was stripped of her heptathlon gold medal from the 2011 IAAF World Championships for doping.

Ennis-Hill, who retired from athletics last month, finished second behind the disgraced Russian in Daegu.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled that Chernova’s results between 15 August 2011 and 22 July 2013 will be annulled – meaning she loses her 2011 world title and bronze from London 2012.
Ennis-Hill wrote on Instagram: "In my heart I knew it was wrong. So happy to finally be receiving my gold medal. Triple world champion. Wow."
Chernova originally tested positive in a re-test of a 2009 sample in January last year, with her results annulled for two years by the Russian anti-doping agency – a retrospective punishment that ended two weeks before the 2011 championships. However, CAS has imposed an additional ban, saying she "will forfeit any titles, awards, medals, points and prize and appearance money obtained during this period [up until July 2013]."
"It's a late birthday present for me and an early Christmas present for Jess," Ennis-Hill's former coach Toni Minichiello told BBC Radio 5 Live.

CAS also banned Chernova for three years and eight months from February 5 this year, although it said a two-year suspension already imposed on the athlete from July 2013 by the Russian Anti-doping Agency would be deducted from her total ban period.
Russian middle distance runners Ekaterina Sharmina and Kristina Ugarova were also sanctioned by CAS following an analysis of their biological passports.
"All three athletes have been found to have committed an anti-doping rule violation ... of the International Athletics Federation (IAAF) Competition Rules after analysis of their Athlete Biological Passports (ABP) showed evidence of blood doping," CAS said in a statement.
Sharmina will be banned for three years from December 7, 2015, and Ugarova for two years, beginning September 7, 2015.
Ennis-Hill won world titles in 2009 and 2015 (Berlin and Beijing respectively) and Olympic gold in London ahead of Chernova. She brought the curtain down on her career with silver in Rio behind Belgium’s Nafi Thiam.
