Usain Bolt took a video camera up with him on the podium as he collected his gold medal for winning the 100m final at the World Athletics Championships.

It was a comical moment as he filmed the scene before him and then posed in front of the camera himself in a video selfie.

Bolt was stood next to controversial American sprinter Justin Gatlin as he received his gold medal following a thrilling 100m triumph on Sunday.

The reaction to Bolt's characteristic theatrics was one of amusement but not surprise given the showman's history of posing in entertaining fashion on the big stage.
