In the women's doubles there was no such luck for Heather Olver and Lauren Smith who were beaten 21-18 21-7 by Indonesian duo Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth and Aprilsasi Putri Variella. And Sophie Brown and Kate Robertshaw's campaing came to a close as they were also beaten in straight sets 21-11 21-12 by Dutch pair Eefje Muskens and Selena Piek.
