Rangers 6, Giants 3
Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre and shortstop Elvis Andrus each hit two-run homers as the Rangers beat the San Francisco Giants 6-3.
Both of the home runs came off San Francisco ace Madison Bumgarner, who matched a season high by allowing six earned runs.
Beltre put the Rangers up 2-0 with his homer to left in the first and Andrus capped a four-run second with his shot to left, giving the Rangers a 6-2 edge. Catcher Chris Gimenez and center fielder Delino DeShields also had RBIs in the inning.
Texas starter Nick Martinez pitched 6-1/3 innings for his first win since June 9. He gave up seven hits and struck out four.

Blue Jays 7, Royals 6 (11 innings)
Third baseman Josh Donaldson hit a single in the 11th inning to give the Toronto Blue Jays a 7-6 victory over the Kansas City Royals.
Blue Jays shortstop Troy Tulowitzki singled with one out in the 11th against left-hander Franklin Morales then took second when Morales was called for a balk on a throw to first with Donaldson at the plate.
Donaldson then singled to give the Blue Jays and right-handed reliever Liam Hendriks (3-0) the win.

Red Sox 7, Rays 5
Mike Napoli launched a go-ahead two-run homer in the seventh inning as Boston pulled out a 7-5 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays.
The homer followed a walk to DH David Ortiz and came after the Rays had taken the lead with two runs in the top of the inning.
Napoli's 13th homer of the season made a winner of reliever Junichi Tazawa.

Phillies 9, Braves 3
David Buchanan pitched one of the best games of his young major league career and got all the backing he would need from the Phillies offense in a 9-3 win over the Atlanta Braves.
Buchanan went 7-1/3 innings and gave up three runs, two of which came from a two-run home run by Atlanta first baseman Freddie Freeman, before he was replaced.
Philadelphia notched a 4-0 first innings lead after Ryan Howard hit a three-run double to the center field fence.

Pirates 5, Reds 4
Andrew McCutchen homered and shortstop Jung Ho Kang doubled three times and scored twice to lift the Pittsburgh Pirates to a thrilling 5-4 victory over the Cincinnati Reds.

Mariners 6, Twins 1
Taijuan Walker threw a complete-game one-hitter for the Seattle Mariners in a 6-1 win over the Minnesota Twins.
The only hit Walker allowed was a solo home run by Twins third baseman Miguel Sano in the fourth inning. He retired nine in a row after that and 16 of the final 17 men he faced in all.

Orioles 8, Tigers 7
Manny Machado hit a two-run homer in the sixth and Chris Davis added an RBI single later in the inning as the Orioles rallied from an early six-run deficit to pull out an 8-7 victory over the Detroit Tigers.
Detroit right fielder J.D. Martinez hit a two-run homer in the third while catcher James McCann and first baseman Jefry Marte went deep on back-to-back pitches off left-hander Wei-Yin Chen in the fourth to help the Tigers to the 6-0 edge.

Padres 8, Marlins 3 (11 innings)
First baseman Yonder Alonso forced in the winning run with a bases-loaded walk on four pitches from Marlins closer A.J. Ramos in the top of the 11th inning to lead the San Diego Padres past the Miami Marlins.
San Diego scored five runs in the inning, including a two-run single by second baseman Jedd Gyorko, who finished the game with three RBIs.
