(The Sports Xchange) - Atlanta Braves left-handed reliever Andrew McKirahan has been suspended 80 games for performance-enhancing drug use.

The office of the commissioner announced McKirahan's suspension without pay on Monday after he tested positive for Ipamorelin in violation of Major League Baseball's Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

Hanley Ramirez left with an illness at the start of the third inning of the Boston Red Sox's annual Patriots' Day game against the Baltimore Orioles on Monday at Fenway Park.
The newly signed left fielder was replaced by Allen Craig. Ramirez grounded out to first to end the inning in his only at-bat of the game in the bottom of the first.

New York Mets catcher Travis d'Arnaud will be in a splint for three weeks with a broken finger, and Mets left-handed reliever Jerry Blevins will be in a cast for six weeks because of a broken forearm, the Mets announced.
Both d'Arnaud and Blevins were injured during the Mets' 7-6 victory over the Marlins on Sunday.
