A camp will be held later in May, with a tournament following in Belarus from May 21-25 which sees Great Britain take on Argentina, Croatia and the hosts.
Buceta hopes the camp will allow him to take a first look at those who have recently graduated from college, while also keeping on the more experienced senior players.
A second camp will then follow in June, and Buceta is excited about GB's qualification chances for the European competition in two years’ time.
"This is the first activity of the new campaign of the GB senior national team," he said. "This will be an important experience to improve the level of the team and an opportunity to see new players at international level.
"Thank you to all the players who have accepted this new challenge for their generous commitment to the team."
Janice Monakana and Melita Carr will be two making their first appearances in the squad, and the former – a recent graduate from the Toledo Rockets – is excited for what is to come.
"I am excited to be one of the few selected to be a part of this camp," she said. "This is a great opportunity for me to show my growth as a player and compete and get better alongside other great players."
