Handy stars as Great Britain finish EuroBasket campaign on a high

Chantelle Handy led the way as Great Britain finished their EuroBasket Women's qualifiers on a high with a 97-55 victory over Albania.

Great Britain went into the game knowing that qualification was already out of their reach but there was promising signs for the future with a strong showing in Tirana.
Olympian Handy led the way, racking up 31 points, ten rebounds, four assists and two steals during an impressive 22 minutes.
However there were strong performances across the board with Great Britain finishing the first quarter 25-16 up before adding another 22 points before half-time.
Handy, who currently plays her club basketball in Slovakia, then stole the show after the half with 24 second-half points across the court as the visitors eased to victory.
Ella Clark also impressed with 16 points with Rachael Vanderwal recording 15 and Azania Stewart and Savannah Wilkinson both finishing with nine.
