Aug 6 (The Sports Xchange) - NBA stars LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry headline the roster for USA Basketball's upcoming minicamp in Las Vegas, even if not all of them will take part in it.

The roster includes eight players from the 2012 gold-medal Olympic team and 11 from the 2014 World Cup, USA Basketball announced Thursday.
The camp, which runs Aug. 11-13, is a prep session for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Attendance is mandatory, although participation is not, especially for injured players such as Durant, Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Love.
The new additions include Harrison Barnes (Golden State Warriors), Jimmy Butler (Chicago Bulls), Michael Carter-Williams (Milwaukee Bucks), Mike Conley (Memphis Grizzlies), Draymond Green (Golden State Warriors), Tobias Harris (Orlando Magic), DeAndre Jordan (Los Angeles Clippers) and Victor Oladipo (Orlando Magic).
The rest of the confirmed attendees are Blake Griffin and Chris Paul (Los Angeles Clippers), Anthony Davis (New Orleans Pelicans), Paul George (Indiana Pacers), LaMarcus Aldridge (San Antonio Spurs), Bradley Beal (Washington Wizards), DeMarcus Cousins (Sacramento Kings), DeMar DeRozan (Toronto Raptors), Andre Drummond (Detroit Pistons), Kenneth Faried (Denver Nuggets), Rudy Gay (Sacramento Kings), Gordon Hayward (Utah Jazz), Dwight Howard (Houston Rockets), Kyrie Irving (Cleveland Cavaliers), Kawhi Leonard (San Antonio Spurs), Chandler Parsons (Dallas Mavericks), Mason Plumlee (Portland Trail Blazers), Klay Thompson (Golden State Warriors) and John Wall (Washington Wizards).

Utah Jazz point guard Dante Exum suffered a torn ACL in Slovenia this week, putting his availability for the 2015-16 season in doubt.
Exum, 20, was injured while playing for the Australian national team against Slovenia in Ljubljana on Tuesday, the Jazz said Thursday.
Exum, the fifth pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, averaged 4.8 points and 2.4 assists last season.

A rematch of the 2015 NBA Finals is expected on Christmas Day when the Golden State Warriors play host to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
ESPN reported Thursday that the game between the defending champions and runner-up, which will feature stars LeBron James and Stephen Curry, is tentatively set.
The game will not be official until the NBA releases its 2015-16 schedule next week. The Christmas Day slate also is expected to include a Miami Heat-New Orleans Pelicans matchup, the Miami Herald reported earlier.
