Prunty's men will start the tournament later on Friday against Belgium in their first Group D match of FIBA EuroBasket 2017.
Great Britain also face Russia, Serbia, Latvia and hosts Turkey in the group stages of the championships, which started on Thursday and continue until September 17.
And Prunty, who will step down as coach of the national side after the tournament, has vowed his side will be fully prepared as they look to progress beyond the group stage.
"We have never wavered in our approach and what I mean by that, is that we're focused on the next game," said Prunty, who has been in charge of Great Britain since 2013.
"It probably sounds boring and clichéd, but a month ago everyone was talking about EuroBasket and what I'm focused on is showing me how they can fit in and be the best players that they can be. And we keep working towards that each day.
"Belgium [are] really good. We've played them before. They are well coached. They have players that have been together for quite a while now, we saw it in the last EuroBasket, so we know that game is going to be tough.
"Right now, our record is 0-0. We'll do everything we can to win that game." Sportsbeat 2017
