Martin Fourcade cruised to his tenth win of the men's World Cup biathlon season already with victory in Sunday morning's 12.5km pursuit in Ruhpolding.
The Frenchman overcame three misses in the shooting to take victory in a time of 33:57.5minutes.
Second on the day was Norway's Emil Hegle Svendsen who was flawless on the range but failed to close the gap on Fourcade who set off with a 18-second lead after his victory in Saturday's sprint.
Completing the podium was Michal Krcmar from the Czech Republic in third.
But there was no doubting the hero of the day, Fourcade has now secured ten wins from 13 races so far this season and is closing in on Ole Einar Bjoerndalen's record of 12 for an entire campaign.
The Frenchman is 284 points clear of Germany's Simon Schempp in the overall standings – the equivalent of five victories.
