The German team - Vanessa Hinz, Maren Hammerschmidt, Franziska Preuss and Dahlmeier - clocked a time of 1:09.53 to take the victory.
France's Celia Aymonier sealed the silver medal with a burst of speed in the final metres, ensuring her team finished with seven spares, 3.5 seconds back.
The third spot on the podium was occupied by Norway, who finished with a single spare, also 3.5 seconds behind.
In the final standing stage, Dahlmeier needed one spare to clean, and passed Norway's Marte Olsbu at the crest of the final uphill to ski away for the win, much to the delight of the home crowd.
"It was a big fight at the last shooting stage," she said.
"I had to control my pace, I was getting closer and closer. We are very happy with our first place."
