Jamie Gruebel Poser recorded her first World Cup win since December as she took victory in the women's bobsleigh in PyeongChang on Saturday.

Gruebel Poser and brakewoman Aja Evans, whose last podium top spot came in Lake Placid before the turn of the year, stopped the clock in a combined time of 1:43.65 minutes, having placed second after the first run before moving up to top spot in the second.

Fellow American Elana Meyers Taylor placed second for her first World Cup podium finish since clinching the World Championship crown in February.

She finished 0.15 seconds back, placing first in the first run before falling back to fifth place in their next effort.

The bronze medal was taken by Canadian Alysia Rissling, finishing 0.41 seconds behind the winner.

Victory for the Americans in the final race of the season sees them take the overall World Cup crown, finishing on 1644 points.

Canada's Kaillie Humphries, the overall winner in 2013, 2014 and 2016, finished second, with Meyers Taylor in third. Sportsbeat 2017
