The Commonwealth champion hasn't fought in England since her Olympic triumph in 2012 but the flyweight will look to be crowned national champion at the Echo Arena during the three-day tournament.
The 32-year-old will be one of five seeded women and nine seeded men that will join the competition at the quarter final stage with 2014 world championship silver medallist Lisa Whiteside also set to compete in the flyweight division.
Among the men Commonwealth champion Scott Fitzgerald will compete at welterweight while current light-heavyweight champion Joshua Buatsi will also fight as well lightweight title holder Pat McCormack.
And Adams says she is relishing the opportunity to compete in front of a home crowd once again.
"It will be great to be part of such a historic event and to have the opportunity to box in England again, as this will be my first time since the Olympic Games," she said.
"Being part of the GB Boxing squad we tend to box overseas the vast majority of the time so to have the chance to compete in my home country again will be fantastic.
"I really hope my fans will get behind this event and come along to support me and all of the other boxers that are taking part in what is sure to be a great weekend of boxing."
