Ben Jones fight part of action-packed night on Eurosport

Jones, the all-action fans' favourite from Crawley, is looking to climb back into world-title contention. The 32-year-old was ranked by the WBO after capturing the super-featherweight title and after a couple of controversial losses dented his world-title hopes, he returned with a knock-out win earlier this month.

Elliott Matthews, the unbeaten Southern Area middleweight champion from Watford, has the first fight of what's sure to be a big year and the undercard also features former amateur stars Jez Smith, Zack Davies and Alex Hughes.

Smith makes his professional debut in front of his home crowd after an amateur career that included winning bronze at the European Schoolboy championships - and Davies also launches his paid career on the same bill. The Welsh light-welterweight has a great amateur pedigree having boxed in the world amateur championships and Commonwealth Games.

Davies and Hughes were both part of the Great Britain amateur set-up and Hughes has made a perfect start to his professional career, chalking up back-to-back stoppages.
