Derek Chisora has been handed a £25,000 fine and a two-year suspended sentence by the British Boxing Board of Control for throwing a table at Dillian Whyte, however the fight between the pair on Saturday will go ahead.
The issue came about during the press conference ahead of the fight, when Chisora lost his temper and threw a table at Whyte, which resulted in the pair having to be separated.
The BBBoC held an emergency meeting where a range of options were discussed, which could have possibly involved seeing the title fight called off.
However they have decided that the fight will go ahead, but Whyte's British title will not be on the line. However, the winner will still have the right to challenge Deontay Wilder.
As well as Chisora having to pay the fine he will also be charged £5,000 in costs.
Should he produced another charge for poor behaviour in the next two years then his license will be revoked without a hearing.
