Floyd Mayweather has found a new and surprising way to spend a wild amount of cash on something unnecessarily expensive - with a crystal-laden cake.

We all know 'Money' lives in absurd levels of excess, but his creativity in disposing of his cash never ceases to astonish his fans - and indeed his critics.
The world's richest athlete decided to belatedly celebrate his win over Manny Pacquiao in what was branded the 'fight of the century' in Miami.
But, of course, he could hardly hold a party without having something utterly ridiculous grab the headlines, and this time it was the cake.
The price? The cake reportedly cost him a cool $15,000 (£9,400).
According to TMZ, the lavish dessert weighed a staggering 90 pounds and held over 10,000 Swarovski crystals... obviously.

Mayweather was not reckless in sharing his cake, though, as he reportedly refused to let anyone have a piece until the party had finished.
The website quoted Mayweather as saying, "I'm serious about nobody cutting my cake!" during the party, which was held at LIV nightclub.
But now for the big question: what flavour was the cake? Why, lemon and rum, of course!
