Cuba's Yoan Pablo Hernandez defended his IBF cruiserweight title and picked up the Ring Magazine belt after a brutal 12 rounds with America's Steve Cunningham in Frankfurt.
Hernandez won the IBF title against Cunningham last year by technical decision after the fight had to be cut short when Hernandez was cut in the sixth.
The Cuban started the rematch the better and almost finished off the fight in the fourth round when he had Cunningham down twice.
However, Cunningham looked the better fighter in the later rounds but could not claw his way back on the scorecards.
The judges scored it 116-110, 116-110, 115-111 all to Hernandez.
Hernandez's record is now 25-1 (13KOs) while Cunningham moves to 23-4 (12 KOs)
