The 24-year old produced a boxing masterclass to knock out Zab Judah in the fifth round during their light-welterweight unification fight in Las Vegas.
Many tipped Judah to be Khan's toughest test since Breidis Prescott, who knocked out the Bolton-born boxer in 2008, but it was Khan that dominated the fight from the start and took it with a crushing right hand to his opponent's body.
Khan now holds both the IBF and WBA titles and is set to have one more bout at light-welterweight before stepping up to 147lbs.
Vali said: "Amir will move up to 147 after December. That is something that he is looking to do in December or early next year.
"And what we'll be looking to do is maybe have one more fight in the UK. Kell Brook is there at 147 - that's a fight that interests the British fans.
"After that, the summer, Mayweather is there. Yesterday he (Mayweather) came out and made a statement - he wants to fight Amir in the UK, so I hope he sticks by it."
The fighter himself has stated that he is ready to move on to the next level and is looking to fight the best in the business.
"I want to go to bigger and better things," said Khan. "I'm ready to fight anyone - let's bring on the big, big names.
"Floyd is a fight in the future - one that could happen in the next 12 months."
