Manny Pacquiao has hinted there is a chance he may return to the ring – sparking rumours that there may be a rematch with Floyd Mayweather.

The Filipino announced his retirement after defeating Timothy Bradley last weekend before stating that he intended to focus on his position as a congressman. He is currently hoping to earn a seat in the senate in May.
"I've decided with the commitment to my family,” Pacquiao said before the fight. “After this, I'm going back home and spend time with them and focus to help the people in the Philippines. They are my priority right now."

However, when discussing how he feels physically, he hinted that he is not totally convinced by the decision. "If you ask me about my condition, my body ... I'm still OK,” he is quoted as saying by Bleacher Report.
“I can still give a good fight. I worked hard in training. I feel OK. I like to fight, the way we prepare. I'm happy doing that. My heart is 50/50. I love my family. Boxing is a really hard sport, very difficult. I might enjoy retired life or I may come back. Right now, my decision is to retire ... I love to help people."
Promoter Bob Arum also added fuel to the flames, by saying there could be a repeat of Pacquiao against Mayweather, the first fight of which the American - who is also now retired - won last year by unanimous decision.
"I know from talking to Floyd - if there's demand for a particular fight - I think he will give it strong consideration,"
"But I think this is one where we're not going to put the cart before the horse. If people are interested in that fight then I think they'll make their voices heard and we'll start working on it."
