Sources indicate that 2012 Olympic bronze medallist Anthony Ogogo will not be seen in a ring again this year following surgery to repair his Achilles tendons.

Ogogo stopped Wayne Reid in five rounds at Liverpool's Echo Arena in July, but recurring troubles with his ankles have led to him being sidelined since. February is most likely the earliest date that he could return following the surgery, which took place in September this year.

Ogogo, 26 in November, is 7-0 (4 by KO).
