Rotherham's Nav Mansouri (11-1-1) will still challenge for the vacant English light middleweight belt on Friday as Nottingham's Tyan Booth (11-8-2) has stepped in at late notice after Aylesbury's Natham Graham (14-5-1) pulled out injured.
Promoter Dave Coldwell is confident that the bout, taking place at Sheffield's Ponds Forge Arena, will deliver. He said:
"It's unfortunate that this has had to happen because everyone was really looking forward to this rematch but boxing is like that sometimes," revealed Coldwell.
"I've been on the phone non-stop to various people since this happened as I didn't want to pull Nav off the bill because he's prepared really hard for this.
"This is still a great opportunity against a new opponent with nothing to lose so he'll still have his work cut out. Booth has been handed an unlikely opportunity and he'll be looking to grab it with both hands."
The show also features the return of Driffild troll hunter Curtis Woodhouse (17-5) at lightweight, and appearances from Rotherham's Chad Gaynor (11-1), heavyweight David Howe (19-1) and middleweights Liam Cameron (13-2) and Rod Smith (2-0) from Sheffield.
