Chazz Witherspoon thrilled a boisterous sold out crowd at The Legendary Blue Horizon on Friday night by stopping the durable Charles Davis at 19 seconds of round seven.

Witherspoon had Davis in trouble through out yet ate some shots from the 204lbs pound Davis. Witherspoon hurt and subsequently dropped Davis in round six and finished the job shortly after the bell rang for round seven.

Witherspoon, 17-0, with 11 knockouts commented after the bout that he felt he could have done even better, "I just wanted to stick to my game plan and a couple of times I deviated and tried to go after him whenever I could. That is something I am trying to work on. That is keeping my composure and sticking to the gameplan."

Davis felt that giving up 27 ½ lbs was the factor in the fight, "I am a cruiserweight. I can"t keep taking on these big heavyweights. I know I won the most rounds but I got tired in there."

The co-feature saw Max Alexander fight through a broken hand and right-jab his way to a unanimous decision over Demetrious Jenkins in a six round Light Heavyweight bout. Alexander made the fight a boxing match that was brought on due to the injury.

Scores were 60-54, 60-54 and 59-55 for Alexander who stays undefeated at 14-0-1. Jenkins is 21-15-1.

"I broke my hand coming into this fight and I still won. I didn"t throw my left hand one time." Said Alexander who knew he could win with the one hand. Jenkins of Detroit was coming off a three year lay off
