England hand first call-ups to James Vince and Jake Ball for Sri Lanka Test

Uncapped duo James Vince and Jake Ball have been named in England's 12-man squad for the first Test against Sri Lanka, starting at Headingley next Thursday.
Hampshire batsman Vince look set to come straight into the middle order as a direct replacement for James Taylor, who was forced to retire in April with a serious heart condition.
The 25-year-old has been a regular member of the England Lions development squad and was part of the squad that reached the final of the World Twenty20 final in India this year.
Fast-bowler Ball, who has taken 19 wickets for Nottinghamshire this season, will have to view for the third seamer's role with Steven Finn.
Opening batsman Alex Hales has been retained after a mixed series in South Africa, while Nick Compton keeps his place at No 3.
