Alex Hales and Jason Roy put on a first-wicket stand of 256 to lead England to a massive ten-wicket win over Sri Lanka in the second one-day international.

Their stand - a record for any wicket pairing - meant they wrapped up with the win with 95 balls remaining, with Hales on 133 not out and Roy on 112 not out.
Sri Lanka had earlier made 254 for seven, with Liam Plunkett and Adil Rashid taking two wickets apiece - a total that looked well short on a good batting pitch.

Roy also contributed to the fielding, running out opener Kusal Perera and wicketkeeper batsman Dinesh Chandimal, securing for himself the man of the match award.
England lead the five-match series 1-0 after the first match in Nottingham was a draw.
The third match of the five-game series is in Bristol on Sunday.
