Scotland enjoy back-to-back wins

Matthew Cross and George Munsey enjoyed an unbeaten 91-run stand as Scotland made it back-to-back World Cup qualifying wins over Nepal with a nine-wicket Duckworth-Lewis victory in Ayr.

Matthew Cross and George Munsey enjoyed an unbeaten 91-run stand as Scotland made it back-to-back World Cup qualifying wins over Nepal with a nine-wicket Duckworth-Lewis victory in Ayr.
The rain-affected match continued on Saturday, with Scotland resuming on 15 for no wicket in the second over chasing a revised target of 110 in 22 overs.
Nepal got an early breakthrough as Sompal Kami bowled Kyle Coetzer for seven but Cross, who finished on 51, and Munsey, contributing 40, guided Scotland to their second ICC World Cricket League Championship win with 49 balls to spare.
The bulk of the damage had been done on Friday, when Nepal were bowled out for just 167, Alasdair Evans the pick of the Scotland bowlers with figures of three for 18 from his 10 overs.
