Team Muirhead triumph in National Championships

Eve Muirhead's rink secured their third consecutive Scottish Championship title to ensure their place at next month's World Championships, in Beijing.

In what was their seventh victory in total, Team Muirhead defeated Hannah Fleming's rink 6-4 in Perth.
With the score tied at 1-1 following the fourth end, three points in the fifth put Team Muirhead in charge.
And despite closing the gap, Team Fleming failed to recover from falling behind as their opponents sealed the win with a double in the eighth end.
"It feels as good as every other one," Muirhead told BBC Scotland.
"Every year it seems to be getting tougher and tougher, which is great.
"We played well all week to get that title. We knew we had to play well and we brought our A-game when it counted.
"It is hard to keep on top. Every year, every competition, we've got people biting at our heels.
"We've got a big target on our back. We keep working very hard and never get complacent."
