Elinor Barker claimed silver in the women's scratch race as Great Britain won four medals on day two of the European Track Championships in Paris.

Elinor Barker claimed silver in the women's scratch race as Great Britain won four medals on day two of the European Track Championships in Paris.
The Welsh rider, on her return to international competition following a break after the Olympics, was first across the line but finished second as her Lithuanian opponent had already taken a lap.
There was also a silver for the men's team sprint trio of Jack Carlin, Ryan Owens and Joe Truman, while b oth team pursuit squads took home bronze.
The women's team pursuit squad of Dannielle Khan, Emily Nelson, Manon Lloyd and Emily Kay crossed the line comfortably ahead of France in their bronze medal race.
The men's quartet, meanwhile, won their heat against Belgium and then, after a nervous wait t o see whether their time would be good enough for the bronze medal race, beat Holland to finish third.
