"I'll be testing my legs on a few stages," the German said. "I will not be concentrating on the GC however."
The 32-year-old Ullrich has been training in Italy since March and is yet to make his first appearance this season.

"I am ready to start racing," Ullrich told he T-Mobile website.
He added that his training this season has been "more advanced" for this season.
"I started training in November already, so I've done more than in other years."
