Di Luca met the Italian Olympic Committee's anti-doping prosecutor on Thursday and said he had been asked to declare if he had used anything intravenous, without specifying if it had been alleged anything illegal was in a drip.
"I have not done anything intravenous, nothing prohibited, therefore what should I declare?" Di Luca, who is serving a three-month ban for his links to a doctor accused of supplying doping products, told reporters.
Di Luca, who has always denied doping, was tested by the Italian Olympic Committee after the 17th stage of the Giro and officials said the results showed abnormal hormone levels.
CONI were not immediately available for comment.
