The sprinter will compete in Grenchen alongside UCI Track World Cup gold medallists Kian Emadi, Ollie Wood, Ellie Dickinson, Manon Lloyd and Emily Nelson.
Four other senior academy riders will also race for Britain at the event, which runs on December 2 and 3, while Hindes also confirmed his participation at the Six Day Amsterdam event the following week.
The 24-year-old has already been back on the boards at the second round of the Revolution event in Glasgow in October, and is enjoying the challenge of taking his focus away from the team sprint for a period.
"I've enjoyed having some time off after winning my second Olympic gold medal but I'm now looking forward to getting back to cycling," he told British Cycling.
"My focus has reset for this season, and I'm aiming to develop my skills in the other sprint disciplines. I can't wait to get racing again."
Hindes will compete in the sprinter's competition at Six Day Amsterdam, and will be joined by fellow Brits Matthew Bostock and Joe Holt, who will team up in the Six Day competition, while Elinor Barker competes in the women's omnium. Sportsbeat 2016
