It was revealed in June that King would be leaving her Wiggle High5 team at the end of the season, and the 25-year-old has chosen Cylance as her next destination, where she will join leading Dutch sprinter Kirsten Wild on the team.
King has been riding with Wiggle High5 for four years, joining in their inaugural 2013 season alongside fellow London 2012 gold medallist Laura Trott.
The former women's team pursuit rider is now a full-time road rider and her new director sportif, Manel Lacambra, is excited to have King on board.
"King rode at a high level the whole season and showed her talent," he said.
"Her track curriculum is great and we believe she will continue to improve with more opportunities down the road. We will see her succeed even more."
King announced the news herself via Twitter, taking the opportunity to thank Wiggle High5 with whom she finished fourth overall in the Santos Women's Tour, third in the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race, and won the Red Hook Criterium, this season.
She tweeted: "Excited to annouce i'll be riding for @cylancecycling in 2017. Want to thank @wigglehigh5 for 4 great years but now onto new challenges."
