Video: Mark Cavendish crashes into parked car, suffers injury

Mark Cavendish withdrew from the Tour of Britain with a shoulder injury after colliding with a parked car during stage six.

Cavendish, who won the opening stage, was taken to hospital where X-rays revealed he had avoided serious injury.
"It looked like there was a car parked on the road and he hit it," Etixx-QuickStep directeur sportif Brian Holm told Cyclingnews.
A statement on the team's website later added: "Cavendish will have to respect some days of rest before resuming training.
The Brit should be fit for the world road race championships in Virginia on September 27.
The stage saw Edvald Boasson Hagen increase his lead in the general classification to 13 seconds over Team Sky's Wout Poels.
