Kirsipuu calls time

Estonian sprinter Jaan Kirsipuu has announced he will call time on his career after the Paris-Tours race on Sunday. The 37-year-old failed to win a new contract with the Credit Agricole team, and therefore decided that this season - the 14th in his career

Kirsipuu has 126 victories to his name, including four Tour de France stage wins, the last of which came in 2004.
The highlight of Kirsipuu's career came in 1999, where he wore the yellow jersey in the Tour de France from stage two to stage seven.
