Davitamon to change name

The pharmaceutical company Omega Pharma, which has sponsored the pro team since 2003 (they shared sponsorship of Quick Step-Davitamon until 2005), said they had accomplished their goals for brand recognition of Davitamon and wanted similar support for predictor.

"After four years of sponsoring, all objectives in the field of brand awareness have been met for Davitamon," the team announced on its official website.

"Consequently, there is room for another brand to benefit from this powerful marketing support tool. The international brand Predictor has been selected to succeed Davitamon as main sponsoring brand of the Pro Tour cycling team."
