A specialist of the spring-classics, Hoste is reportedly leaving the American squad for the Belgian team for financial reasons and to be in a more familiar environment.
Hoste finished second behind Tom Boonen (Quick Step) in this year's Tour of Flanders, then crossed the line in second-place at Paris-Roubaix, but was later disqualified along with team-mate Vladimir Gusev and Davitamon's Peter Van Petegem for passing a downed train-crossing.
Hoste won the general classification at this year's Three Days of La Panne, claiming two stage-victories along the way.
Before joining the Lance Armstrong led Discovery team in 2005, Hoste rode for the current Davitamon sporting director Marc Sergeant in 2003 and 2004 with Lotto-Domo, where he also finished second at the Tour of Flanders in 2004.
