Thomas Dekker prepares to attempt hour record

Thomas Dekker is the third rider to attempt the hour record in 2015. Having seen Jack Bobridge fall 500 metres short of Matthias Brenndle's record of 51.852 kilometres, Dekker will need to beat the new record of 52.491 kilometres set by Rohan Dennis on February 8.

The hour record attempt will be broadcast exclusively on Eurosport in all of its 70 markets across Europe and Asia-Pacific. Besides showing every minute of Dekkers’s hour record, Eurosport’s coverage will include interviews with special guests and will show all the reactions immediately after the event.

Eurosport is the Home of Cycling and will broadcast 1800 hours of cycling in 2015. The Tour de France, Giro d’Italia, Vuelta a Espana and the greatest Classics are among the 23 UCI World Tour races and part of the list of over 40 events broadcast on Eurosport.
