Geraint Thomas is hoping that 2015 can be the perfect springboard to success on the road at next summer's Olympic Games.

The 29-year-old has two Olympic gold medals to his name already as part of the team that rode to pursuit success in both 2008 and 2012.
But, barring a return to the boards at this month's Revolution Series, the tarmac will be home for Thomas in the build-up to Rio.
And with a Tour of Algarve victory under his belt in 2015, as well as some stellar rides to help Chris Froome to his second Tour de France title, things look good for the Welshman.
"It's just been an amazing season and hopefully I can continue to build on that," he said.
"I'm really looking forward to Rio. I'm not going to ride the track this time around. Hopefully I will ride the road race, maybe the time trial. It works out well.
"It would be completely different if I won a medal on the road. The track is so precise and structured and you know what you are going to get.
"The team trains for years and months on end for that one race whereas with the road race, there is a lot more variety and anything can happen, anything can go wrong and that’s what makes it special."
